We have already stated with a new lesson and some of you can find it difficult. First we should know that the passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known who or what is performing the action.
My bike was stolen.
English is spoken all around the world
In the example above what is important is the fact that the bike was stolen, we don't know who did it. In the second example what is important is the English language.
